研究生学习 新闻letter: 2024 Graduation Edition

As the graduate center for the entire campus, the Graduate School works to guide and assist students from the moment of admission through the various milestones of their progress to the completion of their degree requirements. 我们希望学生留下来, 学习, and engage with faculty whose research and creative activities are enriched by collaboration with graduate students. Spring 2024 Commencement Information

Eligible graduates can now RSVP to claim up to eight guest tickets for 2024 Commencement, 定于5月17日至19日举行, 2024年，金色中心.

All eligible graduates are encouraged to review the 客票网页 for more information about ticketing, including registration windows and a step-by-step guide to claim tickets.

Summer 2024: Culminating Experience Workshop

The 研究生办公室 requires all students to attend our mandatory Culminating Experience Format Workshop. The workshop is designed to help students:

  1. Understand the final steps to degree completion;
  2. Format their culminating experience (for those who are completing a thesis, 项目, 或论文);
  3. With strategies for studying for the Comprehensive Examination (for those completing a Comprehensive Examination).

Deadline to Complete the Workshop: 2024年8月2日晚上11:59

Thesis/Project/Dissertation: In order to satisfy the workshop requirement, students will need to complete all modules and the quiz at the end of the modules. The quiz will test students on material covered in the preceding modules; to pass the quiz, students must receive a minimum of 70% (7 out of 10) on the quiz. Students can take the quiz an unlimited number of times until they reach the minimum requirement.

综合考试: In order to satisfy the workshop requirement, students will need to complete all modules and the assessment at the end of the modules. T在这里 is no quiz for this workshop. After students have completed their assessment they will see a thank you message displayed, this indicates completion of the workshop.

  • Students must have completed the mandatory format workshop 之前 to submitting their Culminating Experience.
  • Check-Ins are for students who are graduating in the 当前学期 to submit their Culminating Experience.

免责声明: Ample appointment slots have been allocated to accommodate all graduating students. However, students are encouraged to sign up for appointments early in the submission cycle. Failure to sign up for an appointment, and/or show up to an appointment may delay a student's degree completion timeline.

Students should be advised that if they cancel an appointment once the submission period begins, OGS cannot guarantee another appointment will be available, 因此, students may have to move their graduation date and submit during the next submission cycle.
