Dr. 阿尔玛弗洛

阿尔玛弗洛 is an Assistant Professors in the College of Education at 加州州立大学, 萨克拉门托州. 她得了B.A. in 社会学 with a minor in Eduation Studies at UCLA, her M.A. in Bilingual and Bicultural Studies at the University of Texas, Austin, and her Ph.D. in Race and Ethnic Studies in Education at UCLA. As a Chicana feminist teacher-scholar, her 研究 examines the educational pathways of Chicana/Latina first-generation college students, 女奇卡诺人/拉美裔母亲, and the development and analysis of Chicana/Latina feminist pedagogies and 研究 methodologies. 她的作品已在 Chicana/Latina Studies. Dr. Heidy Sarabia

Heidy Sarabia was born and raised in Mexico City, 搬到萨克拉门托, CA, 在20世纪90年代和她的家人. She is now Assistant Professor in the Department of 社会学 at 加州州立大学, 萨克拉门托. Dr. 南希Huante-Tzintzun

Dr. Huante-Tzintzun is an Assistant Professor of Practice for the Learning, 领导, and Change 项目 and former Ethnic Studies Instructor at 萨克拉门托州 University. She drives her work further as Co Director at Nopal. 社区, 文化, 激进主义, and Education through her well-versed social justice theoretic and civic engagement policy and practice work. Dr. Huante-Tzintzun also participates on the Board of Directors for Little Manila Rising. 出生于Michoacán, 墨西哥，在斯托克顿长大, she believed in the transformative power of education and received a Doctor of Philosophy and Education from the University of Utah. As a Chicana scholar-activist and community organizer in Stockton she finds passion and purpose through multiple disciplines to represent her city and people in everything she does.

She holds a BA in Political Science with a minor in Human Rights from UC Davis and a Master’s in Public Policy and 政府 from 囊状态. 伊丽莎白 previous 研究 experience focused on institutional factors that support Latinx students in CA 社区 大学, given her experience as a first-generation college graduate and former transfer student.

琴伊察弗洛

琴伊察弗洛 is a senior at 萨克拉门托州 studying Ethnic Studies and Philosophy, he is interested in campus culture and climate, and how they affect a student’s college experience and overall success. He was a part of the Students Affairs Leaders of Tomorrow (SALT) program, w在这里 he learned the history of higher education and student development theories that help contribute to student success. 另外, he was a resident advisor for three years, w在这里 He learned the impact of on-campus housing in higher education.

亚历克斯·桑切斯

Alejandro (Alex) Sanchez is a 2022 囊状态 Pathways Fellow, w在这里 he has provided 研究 support to the Stockton Scholars 研究 team. He is a senior majoring in Environmental Science and minoring in Biological Sciences. Alex also currently works with United Latinos as an Air Quality intern for the 萨克拉门托 Vehicle Emissions Project (VEP). 在获得学士学位之后, Alex wants to pursue a master’s degree in environmental policy and management to continue working on environmental justice issues around 萨克拉门托 County related to air and water quality.
